We wanted to try a new restaurant, and Takashi Bistro did not disappoint us. The clear soup was the most flavorful that I have ever tasted. The salad was good. It had more dressing than I liked. You may want to let the waitress know that you do not like an extra wet (runny) salad unless, of course, you do. The chicken fried rice was wonderful. By the time I got to the Salmon entree, I was full. I tasted it, and it was great, but I was just too full to finish. The atmosphere was nice as well. There was a bar and seating where you could see the cooks as they prepared the meals.

I purchased the hibachi dinner combination with salmon and shrimp. My piece of salmon is a strip that has been cut in half. This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I just requested a refund and took a break from coming. This time, I don't feel like dealing with it, and I haven't eaten, so I'll just give a review. I also asked for my rice not to have veggies but they are in there. I didn't care about that too much, but the portion size I do care about. When I went back to ask, the young lady at the counter just said "yes, that's our filet cut in half," and started back doing whatever she was doing. Which I felt was rude because I was still just standing there. My meal was $30. This experience was definitely disappointing...again

Their food is always amazing. My only gripe is their spicy food lacks spice to me but definitely brings the flavor. This is a regular spot for my Husband I so much so that most of the staff know us on site or if we call in an order. When we dine in our dishes are always beautifully presented and the atmosphere is always clean, cozy and chill.

Discovered this place during the summer and have returned 4 times. The Cajun roll and shrimp fried rice are both delicious. The fried rice doesn't taste like it's loaded w/ soy sauce which is great in my books. It is seasoned nevertheless. You see pepper, but it's not overpowering.

Strange combination of Thai, Japanese and Hibachi menu (??) Stir fried rice was ok. Service was good. Atmosphere is ok too. Nothing was outstanding - but decent choice on a Monday, where majority of other good places are closed in Memphis

Service was fantastic and quick. My Pad Thai with tofu was disappointing unfortunately - too greasy and the tofu had a weird texture. The fried rice was good though!
